These are the two IMO most popular mods. If you haven't already gotten them, get them. One of them does add cockpit views, in addition to about a bazillion other things, like weapon recoil, more realistic damage, decals, textures, everything. The first person cockpit has less of a gap at the bottom than some other mods with cockpit overlays, so that's another plus. BF2's space combat is pretty shallow when compared to the X-Wing/TIE Fighter games, but it's still very fun to play. Mod 2: Improved Cooling This build is for those who prefer to play on the frontlines and less about supporting your team. Even though the Officer can already get a comical amount of Battle Points, the Bounty Hunter Star Card is still a terrific choice for this class. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Remaster is a total conversion mod that will overhaul the maps, units, vehicles, weapons and effects of Battlefront II while preserving Online Compatibility and the integrity of the vanilla gameplay. so here we go:
1. create a new side with the vehicle you want a cockpit for.
2. Place the odf and msh files of the vehicle and the cockpit msh into their specific sides folder.
3. Create and open your sideID.req file
4. Add the cockpit below the model entry (example Gunship cockpit)
5. Open the vehicle odf file and add following line:
